Who we are…

Dean has been making fine furniture for 25 years bringing an attention to detail, skill and craftsmanship that is second to none. DWBF was established with an aspiration to design and make the highest quality completely British-made furniture that lasts for generations. We are a husband and wife collaboration and live in Oxfordshire with our two children. Jane originally trained in textile design and has since worked in the design industry and higher education.

Each piece is crafted from raw timber to finished article in our workshop in rural Oxfordshire.

We use the finest timber, fittings and finishes to ensure maximum durability and use materials from sustainable sources.

We are a friendly, professional family business with the flexibility to work to your specifications so do contact us to discuss your requirements.

We are excited to offer a Midcentury inspired collection, along with our ‘heritage ranges’, the highest quality specialist music furniture, piano stools and media storage for trade and private clients. We are one of the last manufacturers of British-made piano stools in the country and our work and our pieces are of superior quality.

HOW TO ORDER…

As all pieces are made to order, we are currently working to a 8-10 week lead time.

1. Standard range: our online store has a range of pieces that can be ordered in a choice of solid ash, oak or walnut timbers. These are finished in a matte lacquer as standard. We accept all major credit and debit cards and will contact you once your order is ready to be shipped to organise a convenient delivery date with you.

2. Bespoke options: as every piece is made-to-order, all dimensions, materials and finishes can be accommodated to suit your needs - just contact us to discuss your requirements and we can provide you with a technical drawing free of charge and a quote for your specific piece.
